Claudia Mendoza was appointed to be Chief Executive Officer of the UK's Jewish Leadership Council soon after 7 October 2023. She had previously conducted research for think tanks, focusing on the Middle East with a special interest in Iran and the transitioning Arab states. Claudia has a BSc in Biochemistry from University College London
and an MA in Middle East Studies from the London School of Oriental and African Studies, She is an alumna of the Adam Science Foundation Leadership Programme.
Claudia will discuss the challenges that she has faced in these very difficult times. She will share the JLC's strategy for the “post Oct
7th reality” and the various projects they have been working on.
