From Salford street scenes to stars and celebrities - Howard will share some of his iconic images and tell the stories behind the photographs.
Howard began his career photographing the bands of the 70s and 80s with regular publications in Rolling Stone Magazine, Melody Maker and NME. His iconic images of Queen, Blondie, Neil Young and Iggy Pop are still regularly published around the world via Getty Images. Howard’s career moved on to working for The
Independent, Sunday Times, Telegraph and Guardian newspapers as well as magazines such as Hello! and Der Spiegel. He is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and former Chair of their Distinctions Panel. Howard's personal awards include Newspaper Photographer of the Year and Industrial Photographer of the Year.
